BTS: Austria 2024
Crew, Cameras & Cold Beers
At the end of February rolling into early March 2024, we headed to Austria for two shoots, one crew, and a whole lot of snow.
We landed to find a completely snowless Austria — not exactly the dream start. But the mountains had our backs. The very next day it dumped. Seventy centimetres in just a few hours. Just like that, the Alps were transformed, and the stage was set for an epic week.
Before hitting the mountain, we made the essential pit stop: loading the van with food, snacks, and “refreshments” (you know the drill). Somewhere between the bread aisle and the checkout, we even managed a quick outfit change, ready for what was coming — deep pow.

Getting up there wasn’t without its challenges. Mid-climb, we had to pull over to throw on snow chains, with a taxi driver lending a hand. The chains didn’t really do much… but just when it felt like we’d be stuck, a snowplough rolled up behind us and cleared the way to the top. Crew luck.

Three days up there gave us nothing but bluebird skies, deep turns, and enough shots to fill a season’s worth of stoke. More importantly, it gave us time with the crew — riding, laughing, and making memories that stick harder than the snow on our goggles.

All in all? An incredible shoot. Freakishly lucky. And exactly the kind of trip that reminds us why we do this.
Nordkette — City Lines & Park Vibes
After Zillertal’s deep turns and backcountry missions, we pointed the van towards Innsbruck for round two — Nordkette. One short gondola ride and you’re suddenly above the clouds, staring out over the valley. It’s wild how quickly you swap concrete for corduroy groomers.

This shoot had a whole different flavour. Park laps over powder drops. The crew scattered boards, bags, and cameras across the snow like we were setting up camp. Someone was always filming, someone was always riding, and someone was always making sure the snack stash stayed topped up.

The light was perfect — crisp blue skies with the kind of mountain backdrop that makes every frame look like a postcard. We posted up between runs, helmets off, soaking up the sun, swapping stories, and hyping each other up for the next trick. Landing something clean meant cheers loud enough to turn heads halfway down the park.

Lunch breaks stretched longer than planned — a mix of laughs, plans for the next lines, and the occasional “are we really going back out after this?” look over a plate of fries. Spoiler: we did. The lifts weren’t going to ride themselves.

By the time the shadows stretched long, we’d stacked more than enough clips and photos to call it a win. But like always, the real highlight was riding with the crew — the in-between moments that don’t make the final cut but stay in your head long after the trip.
