Season Openings: HTO & Kläppen Autumn Park

Two Openings, One Crew: Kläppen vs Hintertux

You know that feeling when the seasons are just about to flip — boards waxed, jackets still smell like last winter, and the stoke is off the charts? That was us the first weekend of October, splitting the crew between two openings that couldn’t have been more different — Kläppen’s Autumn Snow Park up north, and Hintertux down in the Alps.

Kläppen: Rain, Rails, and Relentless Vibes

Kläppen threw down their Autumn Snow Park opening with rail jams, movie nights, and a whole lotta heart. The weather? Straight-up Scandi-style — rain on Saturday, drizzle on Sunday, and smiles through it all. Did it stop anyone? Not a chance. Riders were out there sliding soaked metal like it was mid-season sunshine. Ponchos, hoodies, and waterproof vibes — that’s how you know it’s a real Nordic opening. The best part? The community. You could feel it in every high-five and soaked beanie. It wasn’t about perfect conditions, it was about the crew showing up, doing what they love, and laughing when the wind tried to blow their goggles off. Classic Sweden.

Hintertux: Bluebird Windows & Euro Energy

Meanwhile, a few of our riders packed their boards (and probably forgot their gloves) for the Hintertux Opening down in Austria. Saturday blessed the glacier with some sunshine, and you could practically hear the stoke echo off the mountains.

It’s a different kind of scene — big resort, big brands, big après. Euro tunes bumping, everyone chasing clips, and that first proper park setup of the season drawing riders from all over the continent. We linked up with some of the crew, snapped photos, filmed a few lines, and mostly just soaked in the “we’re back, baby” energy. Hintertux is where the global season wakes up, and the vibe is electric.

Call to Stoke

Massive shoutout to everyone who came through — at both ends of Europe. The season’s officially ON, and we’re hyped to see where the next sessions take us.
Drop your photos, tag your crew, and let’s keep the vibe rolling. See you out there, rain or shine.
