How toasty the garment keeps you. Higher ratings mean more insulation, better for cold missions and static chairlift time.
Toughness of the fabric, whether you’re brushing trees, bonking rails, or tumbling in the park.
Letting hot air and moisture escape so you don’t end up a sweaty mess. Important for high-output riding or layering.
How well the outerwear keeps moisture out. Higher numbers = drier rides, even when it’s dumping or wet-slushy.
A lab test rating that shows how waterproof the fabric is. More mm = more pressure the fabric can handle before leaking. Usually:
Light rain = 5.000 mm
Steady rainproof = 10.000 mm
Next-level rain protection = 20.000 mm
