We’re not gonna pretend we’ve nailed sustainability, not even close. Everything we do leaves a mark, from stitching up our gear to getting it out the door. But that doesn’t mean we’re sitting back and doing nothing.

We’re on a mission to ride more responsibly, for the people, the planet, and future pow days. We all need to take action and each decision we make needs to be thought of in a more sustainable way. It’s about all of us, humans, homies, and the hills we love.

Our roadmap? We kicked that off in 2024. It’s our plan to shrink our footprint and grow our impact, the good kind. We’re constantly tweaking it, because keeping global temps in check isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s the only way to keep riding the way we do.

So no greenwashing. No ego. Just a crew trying to develop the way we ride season after season.

Present

Currently, a commendable 75% of our materials are recycled. While we aspire to increase this number, making a complete shift to recycled materials is a goal on our horizon. We're committed to researching and evaluating the feasibility of this move.

Near future

As we look ahead, we're considering holistic measures to go beyond just the clothes we create. Initiatives like second-hand product offerings, gear repair kits and care guides are on our radar, which could potentially minimize waste and maximize the life of each CLWR piece. Our broader vision includes a deep dive into the environmental implications of every operational aspect, striving for improvements wherever feasible.

Long term

We understand the weight of the word 'sustainable', especially for a clothing brand. While we may not be saving the planet single-handedly, our goal is to ensure that our footprint is as minimal as possible. By lookin into optimizing areas like transportation, production, and our workspace, we hope to have a more positive impact on the planet. This is not something that comes easy and we are discussing these things regularly.
